Tickets in Hand to the Big House

In just 4 short years CH Boy's Basketball has earned their first ticket to the Big House.  On Friday night at Pontotoc High School the Mustangs got revenge for three earlier losses to Rosa Fort by the score of 55-50. The Mustangs trailed by as many a nine in the first half but cut the difference to three at the half 31-28.  In the second half Center Hill pulled even  at 33 and took their first lead 34-33.  From that point they controlled the tempo and the game with their lead growing to as much as eleven in the fourth quarter.  The Mustangs closed the game out on the free throw line and with excellent work on the defensive boards.  Center Hill will take on the host Pontotoc Warriors at 7:30 on Saturday night.  The Mustangs also assured themselves of a game at the Mississippi Coliseum on March 1 in the Final Four of the Mississippi 4A State Championship. Congratulations to Coach North and the Center Hill Mustangs on earning their first trip to the "Big House".
