We had a great first week at CH! We are so blessed to have such awesome students and teachers at CH! We used this week to let the students get acclimated to being back in school. Beginning on Monday, August 17 we will enforce dress code with consequences. Also on Monday we will begin to count tardies for punishment. Students are tardy to school @ 8:25 each and every day. Students have only 4 minutes between classes but the halls are not crowded and most students only have 3 books. Students were able to pick their locker so hopefully they made wise choices about location. Students have a 15 minute break after 1st period and they have 30 minutes for lunch each day. Our cafeteria food is as good as or better than any cafeteria you will ever eat in including Piccadilly. We offer snacks and drinks for the students to buy at break an d all items are considered healthy by the FDA.
Both the Volleyball and Football season have began. The first pep rally will be this Thursday night @ 8 p.m. bonfire style on the east side of the school building.
There will be a senior parent meeting on Tuesday night @ 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
School Pictures will be taken this coming Wednesday, August 19 for all Freshmen, Juniors, and Sophomores!!
